Theresa, a native of DeRidder, LA, began her insurance career in 1985. Since then, she has handled commercial accounts, attained her Property & Casualty License, became a Certified Insurance Counselor, was the Branch Manager for up to four locations and held the position of Vice President of Operations while with The Temple Group. In 2004, she was asked to join Amerisafe General Agency, Inc.

Theresa serves as the Operations Manager for AGAI, where she oversees four inside service staff and four outside sales staff over 20 states. She also oversees AGAI Wholesale Division, which serves 24 states.

Her favorite thing about working here is her staff. She says, “I have the best staff on the planet and wouldn’t trade one of them for 10 more.”
